Hawaiian Airlines is taking revenge on me for my ancestor’s transgression with this meal.

Okay. I’ll ask. Other than the fruit in the top left, what is that?
Looking at that ‘meal’. I would of called back the steward/ess and said, “if your not going to bother about making a proper meal, I suggest you don’t bother at all”.

That looks like the lunch a mom would give her 3rd grader...was there a note in there too?

Is that an egg sandwich?

That’s nothing. The “food” they served on our El-Al transatlantic flight was inedible.

That very meal gave my roommate food poisoning about a month ago. Mine wasn’t even heated up but was at least poison free. Punch was good though.

The Russian inflight meal I had on an Atlas Air flight to Kyrgyzstan looked a hell of a lot better than that. Besides the fact it was all in Cyrillic and I had to guess to a degree what stuff was.

But look at the bright side... you’ll get sweet revenge when the farts start coming...

It’s an “egg sandwhich”. The staff was top notch and they give you a free coctail so I was gtg. Plus once you land you’re in paradise.

I think the revenge is that their ancestral land gets used as a resort by fat Americans.

When we fly to Hawaii we go Alaska because it’s the easiest to get convenient flights from where I live and we’re in their rewards program. The don’t always have the best food but they have better than that. Plus free mai tais at the end of the flight.

Was there fish in it?
![]() 11/24/2016 at 21:54 |

No fish, just an egg patty with peppers. Fish may have improved it though.

It seems they still haven’t figures out the heat issue as mine was cold as well.

Have you ever seen a grown man naked?

Hawaiian has the free mai tais as well. Hawaiian flies direct from my local which is nice.

I imagine they’d just hand you a bottle of vodka and a potato.
![]() 11/24/2016 at 21:58 |

Technically yes.

See I’d expect the same but not for a US Govt contract flight carrying soldiers for a deployment.

The potato

Vodka filled potato?

Never mind. I’m sure it was kosher.

Just be lucky it’s free. Hawaiian loves to point this fact out that their in flight meals are complimentary. Well, except for their interisland flights. They just give you juice due to the short flight hops.

There were kosher options but I think the meal I had was non. Or maybe mine was meat kosher and a few other were dairy kosher. I dunno it wasn’t palatable.

Juice in that weird fruit cocktail cup.

The El Al meals I’ve eaten weren’t that awful. Certainly not enjoyable, but not the worst food I’ve ever eaten.
